How the Volunteer Network Works / स्वयंसेवक नेटवर्क की कार्यप्रणाली

1. Register and build the local network / पंजीकरण और स्थानीय नेटवर्क

   Veterans across India can register as ALS Volunteers and encourage Veterans in their local groups to join. Registration includes mobile and email OTP verification.

   देशभर के पूर्व सैनिक ALS स्वयंसेवक बन सकते हैं और स्थानीय साथियों को जोड़ सकते हैं। पंजीकरण के समय मोबाइल और ईमेल OTP सत्यापन आवश्यक है।

2. Connect within your district / अपने जिले में समन्वय

   My District Volunteers shows volunteers of your own district only. Use these contacts to coordinate visits and share responsibilities. Keep Zila Sainik Board and nearby unit contact details current.

   My District Volunteers में केवल अपने जिले के स्वयंसेवक दिखते हैं। आपसी संपर्क से मुलाकातों और जिम्मेदारियों का समन्वय करें तथा जिला सैनिक बोर्ड और नजदीकी यूनिट के संपर्क अद्यतन रखें।

3. Identify bereaved families / शोकसंतप्त परिवारों तक पहुँचें

   Learn of a Veteran’s demise through local networks. By mutual arrangement, liaise with the Zila Sainik Board every 15 days or once a month to ask about deaths reported to that office.

   स्थानीय संपर्कों से पूर्व सैनिक के निधन की जानकारी लें। आपसी सहमति से हर 15 दिन या महीने में एक बार जिला सैनिक बोर्ड से वहाँ सूचित निधन के बारे में संपर्क करें।

4. Explain the available assistance / सहायता की जानकारी दें

   Contact the family respectfully and explain the support that may be available from the Veteran’s parent service—Army, Navy or Air Force. Identify relevant schemes and their required documents.

   परिवार से संवेदनशीलता से संपर्क करें और संबंधित थलसेना, नौसेना या वायुसेना की संभावित सहायता योजनाओं तथा आवश्यक दस्तावेजों की जानकारी दें।

5. Collect, check and upload / जानकारी जाँचकर अपलोड करें

   With the family’s consent, collect the deceased Veteran’s service details, discharge and death dates, next-of-kin and children’s details, and required supporting documents. Upload these through the ALS Volunteer Dashboard. Review all entries carefully before final submission.

   परिवार की सहमति से सेवा विवरण, सेवामुक्ति और निधन की तिथियाँ, निकटतम परिजन व बच्चों की जानकारी और आवश्यक दस्तावेज एकत्र करें। ALS स्वयंसेवक डैशबोर्ड पर अपलोड करके अंतिम सबमिशन से पहले जाँच लें।

6. ALS reviews and prepares PDF letters / ALS समीक्षा और PDF पत्र

   The proposed service target is to prepare personalised PDF letters within a few hours after complete and correct information is received. Letters should contain the required particulars and the relevant recipient’s address. The ALS team will explain any missing information and the next steps.

   प्रस्तावित सेवा लक्ष्य है कि पूरी और सही जानकारी मिलने के कुछ घंटों में आवश्यक विवरण और प्राप्तकर्ता के पते सहित PDF पत्र तैयार किए जाएँ। ALS टीम कमी होने पर जानकारी और अगले कदम बताएगी।

7. Print, sign and dispatch / प्रिंट, हस्ताक्षर और प्रेषण

   With ALS guidance, the family prints the letters, checks the particulars, signs where required, attaches the listed documents and dispatches them to the addresses already printed on the letters. Keep copies and dispatch receipts for follow-up.

   ALS के मार्गदर्शन में परिवार पत्र प्रिंट करे, विवरण जाँचे, आवश्यक स्थानों पर हस्ताक्षर करे, बताए गए दस्तावेज लगाए और पत्र में दिए पते पर भेजे। प्रतियाँ और डाक रसीदें संभालकर रखें।

8. Follow up until a decision / निर्णय तक अनुवर्ती संपर्क

   ALS will coordinate with the concerned Army, Navy or Air Force authorities for timely processing and disbursement, and guide the family on further requirements. Eligibility, sanction and disbursement remain with the concerned authority.

   ALS समय पर कार्रवाई और सहायता वितरण के लिए संबंधित सैन्य प्राधिकरण से संपर्क रखेगा और आगे की आवश्यकताओं पर परिवार को मार्गदर्शन देगा। पात्रता, स्वीकृति और वितरण संबंधित प्राधिकरण के अधीन हैं।

The PDF preparation and follow-up steps describe the intended service process; they do not indicate that automatic letter generation is already enabled.
